The grape harvest is just around the corner and the Valpolicella wineries are fervently preparing for this crucial moment in wine production. The wineries of the Valpolicella Wine Route are ready to welcome you to celebrate this magical season together, offering unique and unforgettable experiences. This is one of the most significant moments of the year for wine producers, an occasion when tradition, passion and taste come together to create extraordinary events.
Here are some of the wineries that invite you to experience this important event with them, offering sunset tastings, live music and the opportunity to participate first-hand in the grape harvest:
AZIENDA AGRICOLA FUGOLO GIANLUCA is hosting the event “EXPERIENCE THE GRAPE HARVEST WITH US” on Sunday 13 September, 20 September and 27 Septembre, an ideal experience to enjoy with your partner, family and friends. Meet at 10.30 a.m. for a walk through the vineyard and a talk about the farm, the local area and traditions. You can pick the grapes and, above all, press them manually using ancient techniques and, for those who want to... EVEN WITH YOUR FEET!
At the end of the work in the vineyard, we will prepare an aperitif for everyone with local cold cuts and cheeses.
Afterwards, still in the vineyard, we will set up all the hay bales with cushions and pallet tables for a dream picnic with a complete tasting of 4 wines from our winery.
This will be followed by red wine biscuits and grape ice cream for everyone.

TENUTA CANOVA, in Lazise, is hosting its Harvest Festival on 11 September.
After a welcome glass of wine, the agronomists and oenologists of the Masi Technical Group will guide you through an authentic experience in the vineyards: you will learn about vines, how to distinguish between different grape varieties and how to select the most suitable bunches for Appassimento, the ancient technique in which Masi has recognised expertise. Afterwards, you will visit the cellars and the evocative Wine Discovery Museum, completing a journey rich in history, culture and passion.
The evening will end with a tasting dinner, where iconic Masi wines will accompany a signature menu, inspired by wine in every dish.
